Pottery - Pet Bowl Making

Who is this course for?

This 2.5 hour class is suitable for all levels.

In this workshop you will create your own Pet Bowl using clay.

What does the course cover?

Over the session we will be showing you how to assemble and decorate your Pet Bowl - either one large Dog Bowl or two smaller Cat/Small Furries bowls. With a professional pottery tutor on hand to guide you through the session you will learn how to use moulds, slab building.

You can personalise with names and add decoration, you also have a choice of glaze colours and when your pots come back about 4 weeks afetr the session they will be food safe, dishwasher safe and ready to go!

Bowls will be taken back to Muddy Fingers HQ and dried then bisque fired, we will then glaze them in a colour of your choice and fire them again.  Glaze colours may not be exactly as they are on our testers and therefore final colours cannot be guaranteed.

The finished pieces will be ready for collection about 4 weeks later.

What is included in the fee?

The fee includes tuition, the use of tools and equipment and all the materials and firings. 

There is a maximum of 8 students per class to ensure individual attention. 

Please note your pieces are taken away to be fired and will be ready for collection 4 weeks later, date to be agreed during the class. 

What do I need to bring?

• Please wear sturdy and fully enclosed footwear (no open toes or gaping sides) and clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged. 
• Please ensure long hair is tied back. 
• Please cut your nails short if possible.
• You may bring your own drinks. All drink containers/bottles must have lids.

No food can be consumed within the classroom

All our classes are for age 16 and over, unless otherwise specified.

• In the event of a class being cancelled by the Host, the option of a full refund will be issued or the student may request a date transfer if available.

• If we are able to re-sell your place a refund will be given at all times and every effort will be made to re-sell at all times.
• Non-attendance – if you do not attend on the day of your class you will not be eligible for a refund or class transfer.
• Payment of your class fee is deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.
