Silver Ring Making Workshop

Who is this course for?

In this ring making workshop you will produce a sterling silver ring. Under guidance of silversmith Kate Hunter-Parker, you will learn the traditional silversmithing processes from measuring and cutting your silver, to annealing, forming, soldering and texturing, you will then clean up and polish your unique design.

All materials and tools are provided. If you want a different shape or weight of silver there will be some available, there may be a small additional cost for this.

What does the course cover?

During the class you will learn how to create a sterling silver ring. You will learn to measure and cut silver, how to anneal and form a ring. You will then solder the ring. You will add a texture if you wish and then clean up and polish your unique design.    

What is included in the fee?

The fee includes tuition, the use of tools and equipment and all the material (if you want a different shape or weight of silver there will be some available, there maybe a small additional charge)

There is a maximum of 6 students per class to ensure individual attention.

 What do I need to bring?

• Please wear sturdy and fully enclosed footwear (no open toes or gaping sides) and old clothes that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged.
• Please ensure long hair is tied back. 
• All drink containers/bottles must have lids.
• No food can be consumed within the classroom.

Cancellation and Attendance Policy

• In the event of a class being cancelled by the Host, the option of a full refund will be issued, or the student may request a date transfer if available.
• Cancellations by the student over 28 days of the class date – we will offer a full refund or date transfer (transfer subject to - if another date is available) at the discretion of the student. If a date change has been requested, we cannot offer a refund on a subsequent cancellation.
• Cancellations by the student within 28 days of the class date – we are unable to offer a refund or date change.  Please see following information:
• If we are able to re-sell your place a refund will be given at all times, and every effort will be made to re-sell at all times.  You may transfer your place to a person of your choice, friend or family, please notify us of the name change.  In the event of an emergency, illness, family emergency etc – our terms and conditions apply.
• Non-attendance – if you do not attend on the day of your class, you will not be eligible for a refund or class transfer.
• Bookings made using Gift Certificates – terms and conditions apply as above.
• Payment of your class fee is deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Payment of your reservation deems that you accept these terms and conditions.
