Intermediate Stained Glass Course
- Improve your skills in Stained Glass on this two part course - please scroll down for workshop information
- £155.00
Who is this course for?
This two session course over two days is for students who have completed a beginners class with The GlassHouse or a beginners class elsewhere (lead came work not copperfoil)- within the last 12 months.
Recommendation -
If you have completed a stained glass beginners class longer than 12 months ago we recommend you repeat the beginners class before applying for this short course.
If you feel you would like to improve your cutting and soldering skills we can also recommend attending our Copperfoil beginners class which will prepare you for the requirements of the Intermediate Course.
What does the course cover?
The aim of this course is to improve your skills - Working with one of our templates you will choose your glass, learn how to cut the glass to size and shape with more precision. Then how to lead your panel and solder it independantly. (please note the pattern shown on the title page may not be available, templates vary)
If you do not feel confident with your cutting skills our copperfoil beginners class would be beneficial to attend prior to this course.
What is included in the fee?
Your fee includes tuition by an experienced stained glass designer, the use of tools and equipment and materials. Each student will take home a panel that they have created.
There is a maximum of 4 students per class to ensure individual attention.
Please note, this course involves working with lead, we recommend that pregnant women do not attend.
