Copperfoil Teardrop Class

Who is this course for?

This class is for students with previous glass cutting experience.

What does the course cover?

This 4 hour class works with a technique called 'copperfoil' to create decorative pieces of stained glass.  Using our templates you will learn to create one piece with the guidance of our tutor.  Whichever design you choose, you will create a beautiful decoration to take home that day.  During this class you will choose your design and glass, cut your glass to shape and solder it together to create your finished piece.  

Three templates available.

Previous glass cutting experience is essential.  Glass cutting will not be taught during the class.

What is included in the fee?

Your fee includes tuition by an experienced stained glass designer, the use of tools and equipment and materials.  

We keep the classes small, to ensure you receive our full attention and have an enjoyable experience.

 Please note, this course involves working with lead, we recommend that pregnant women do not attend.

What do I need to bring?

• Please wear sturdy and fully enclosed footwear (no open toes or gaping sides) and old clothes that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged. A mask may be required to be worn throughout the class depending on restrictions and company policy at the time.
• Please ensure long hair is tied back. 
• All drink containers/bottles must have lids, students to bring own refreshments.
• No food may be consumed during the class

All our classes are for age 18 and over, unless otherwise specified.

Course terms and conditions:

Cancellation and Attendance Policy;

• In the event of a class being cancelled by the Host, the option of a full refund will be issued, or the student may request a date transfer if available.
• Cancellations by the student over 28 days of the class date – we will offer a full refund or date transfer (transfer subject to - if another date is available) at the discretion of the student. If a date change has been requested, we cannot offer a refund on a subsequent cancellation.
• Cancellations by the student within 28 days of the class date – we are unable to offer a refund or date change.  Please see following information:
• If we are able to re-sell your place a refund will be given at all times, and every effort will be made to re-sell at all times.  You may transfer your place to a person of your choice, friend or family, please notify us of the name change.  In the event of an emergency, illness, family emergency etc – our terms and conditions apply.
• Non-attendance – if you do not attend on the day of your class, you will not be eligible for a refund or class transfer.
• Bookings made using Gift Certificates – terms and conditions apply as above.
• Payment of your class fee is deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.
