Adult and Child Glass Fusing - Creating Coasters

Who is this course for?

This class is suitable for Children aged 9 years and over and are to be accompanied by one adult.

During the class you will be shown how to use specialist fusing glass including Frit, Confetti and Millefiore glass.

The child will be able to create two coasters and the adult one window hanging.

All materials and tools are provided. 

This is a 1.5 hour class suitable for all learners but some dexterity would be a benefit.  Children should be between 9-16 and each child will receive the support they need to achieve their project. 

What does the course cover?

During the class you can use templates or create your own designs.  Each coaster is 10cm x 10cm, clear glass.   

Your glasswork will need to be fired in our kiln and your glass pieces will be ready for collection the following week 

What is included in the fee?

The fee is for a child and Adult and includes tuition, the use of tools and equipment and all the materials 

Your booking includes one adult and one child place.

There is availability for one additional child per session - please contact us if you wish to add an additional child to your booking, the fee for this is £18.00 and includes two coasters.  We would recommend contacting us before booking to ensure this additional place is still available.

 What do I need to bring?

• Please wear sturdy and fully enclosed footwear (no open toes or gaping sides) and clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged.
• Please ensure long hair is tied back. 
• All drink containers/bottles must have lids.
• No food can be consumed within the classroom.

 Please note the age is strictly 9 years and over due to the working area and the materials being used.  This class is not suitable for younger children.

Course terms and conditions:

Cancellation and Attendance Policy;

• In the event of a class being cancelled by the Host, the option of a full refund will be issued or the student may request a date transfer if available.
• Cancellations by the student over 28 days of the class date – we will offer a full refund or date transfer if available at the discretion of the student.
• Cancellations by the student within 28 days of the class date – we are unable to offer a refund or date change.  Please see following information:
• If we are able to re-sell your place a refund will be given at all times and every effort will be made to re-sell at all times.
• Non-attendance – if you do not attend on the day of your class you will not be eligible for a refund or class transfer.
• Payment of your class fee is deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.
