Christmas Mistletoe Class

Who is this course for?

This 2.5 hour class is suitable for beginners and experienced students. 

Suitable for all levels but some dexterity would be a benefit. 

What does the course cover?

In this festive workshop, you will create your own unique bunch of metal mistletoe — a beautiful handmade decoration to enjoy for years to come.

Under the guidance of silversmith Kate Hunter-Parker, you will learn a range of silversmithing techniques and skills to create your own special piece. Working with sheet metal, wire and pearls, you will shape and assemble your mistletoe, adding your own creative touches along the way.

No previous silversmithing experience is necessary. Come along, get creative and enjoy making a beautiful Christmas decoration that would make a lovely addition to any home.

You will also learn a variety of wireworking techniques to create the delicate branches and discover how to securely add the pearls to complete your mistletoe.

Your finished piece will make a beautiful handmade decoration to display in your home for years to come, or a unique and thoughtful Christmas gift for someone special.

What is included in the fee?

The fee includes tuition, the use of tools and equipment and all the materials to make your mistletoe bunch.

There is a maximum of 8 students per class to ensure individual attention.

 What do I need to bring?

• Please wear sturdy and fully enclosed footwear (no open toes or gaping sides) and old clothes that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged.
• Please ensure long hair is tied back. 
• All drink containers/bottles must have lids.
• No food can be consumed within the classroom.

 All our classes are for age 18 and over, unless otherwise specified. Anyone attending the class under this age will not be allowed to partake in the class and no refund will be available.

Course terms and conditions:

Cancellation and Attendance Policy;

• In the event of a class being cancelled by the Host, the option of a full refund will be issued, or the student may request a date transfer if available.
• Cancellations by the student over 28 days of the class date – we will offer a full refund or date transfer (transfer subject to - if another date is available) at the discretion of the student. If a date change has been requested, we cannot offer a refund on a subsequent cancellation.
• Cancellations by the student within 28 days of the class date – we are unable to offer a refund or date change.  Please see following information:
• If we are able to re-sell your place a refund will be given at all times, and every effort will be made to re-sell at all times.  You may transfer your place to a person of your choice, friend or family, please notify us of the name change.  In the event of an emergency, illness, family emergency etc – our terms and conditions apply.
• Non-attendance – if you do not attend on the day of your class, you will not be eligible for a refund or class transfer.
• Bookings made using Gift Certificates – terms and conditions apply as above.
• Payment of your class fee is deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.
