Join artist Amy Brooks & be guided step-by-step to create your very own watercolour painting of your pooch. You’ll learn simple drawing tricks to help you capture your fury friends personality. Look at colour mixing & learn a variety of watercolour techniques to add depth & character. You’ll leave with an A4 completed painting.
Adults (18+) Children aged 14+ are welcome to join when accompanied by an adult.
What does the course cover?
This workshop is for both beginners & experienced creatives. Working with watercolour paints. You will be guided step-by-step through the process to capture your own faithful friend. Starting with a drawing masterclass looking at shapes to mixing colours & building depth to bring your painting to life.
What is included in the fee?
The fee includes tuition, the use of tools & equipment & all materials required to create your painting. You will leave with your A4 painting at the end of the session. Aprons are provided but please wear clothing you don’t mind getting messy just in case. You will be contacted nearer the time and asked to provide 4 photos of the dog you’d like to paint, we will have these images printed out & ready for you at the workshop.
There is a maximum of 8 students per class to ensure individual attention.

What do I need to bring?
Please wear sturdy and fully enclosed footwear (no open toes or gaping sides) and clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged.
Please ensure long hair is tied back.
All drink containers/bottles must have lids.
No food is allowed to be consumed within the workshop

Cancellation and Attendance Policy;
In the event of a class being cancelled by the Host, the option of a full refund will be issued or the student may request a date transfer if available.
Cancellations by the student over 28 days of the class date – we will offer a full refund or date transfer if available at the discretion of the student.

If we are able to re-sell your place a refund will be given at all times and every effort will be made to re-sell at all times.
COVID – special conditions – If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid and/or subject to quarantine/isolation restrictions and/or anyone in your household has tested positive – within 7 days of your class – Please DO NOT ATTEND. Our standard cancellation policy applies however, if your place is not able to be re-sold and cancellation is within 7 days of your class date we will offer you an item made by your tutor and this can be posted to you or collected at an agreed date. **
Non-attendance – if you do not attend on the day of your class you will not be eligible for a refund or class transfer.
Payment of your class fee is deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.
** Covid – It remains our policy to continue with facemasks where the tutor requests and also the aforementioned attendance policy. We are a small business that works with self employed tutors who are dependant on their work as their only source of income, therefore we have implemented this policy to provide the safest working environment for our tutors and staff.
