Aromatherapy Workshop

Who is this course for?

Aromatherapy is one of the most popular and accessible forms of natural medicine. Join us in this workshop and learn why essential oils improve our lives and how to use them safely.

In this workshop you will be guided Michele Riveroll, a Perfumer and Clinical Aromatherapist with 22 years experience working with essential oils.

Michele will introduce 10 of the safest and most versatile essential oils Aromatherapists use in their practice, and you will choose those most needed by you or family to support your well-being. Michele works with the purest organic essential oils and carrier oils.

You will then learn to create an essential oil blend you can use throughout the day and as a bath or body oil at the right time of the day to address your needs.

This is a 2.5 hour course suitable for complete beginners / novices. This Introductory Workshop in Aromatherapy is ideal for those who would like to be able to use Aromatherapy on their friends and families and for to those considering a career in the Holistic / Complementary Therapy sector.

What does the course cover?

The Theory will cover:

• The History of Aromatherapy
• The Benefits of Aromatherapy
• Cautions
• The Usage of Essential oils
• Carrier oils

The Practical will include:

• Making a blend
• Best ways to use your blend

You will leave the workshop with a solid understanding of the therapeutic use of essential oils and a bespoke aromatic blend made by you, taking into account your personal needs.

What is included in the fee?

The fee includes tuition, an e-booklet, the use of tools and equipment and all the materials. You will take home a bespoke aromatic blend made by you.

There is a maximum of 6 students per class to ensure individual attention.

 What do I need to bring?

• Please wear sturdy and fully enclosed footwear (no open toes or gaping sides) and clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged.
• A face covering must be worn throughout the class if requested by the tutor. Please see terms below.
• Please ensure long hair is tied back. 
• All drink containers/bottles must have lids.
• No food can be consumed within the classroom.

 All our classes are for age 16 and over, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation and Attendance Policy;

• In the event of a class being cancelled by the Host, the option of a full refund will be issued or the student may request a date transfer if available.
• Cancellations by the student over 28 days of the class date – we will offer a full refund or date transfer if available at the discretion of the student.
• Cancellations by the student within 28 days of the class date – we are unable to offer a refund or date change.  Please see following information:
• If we are able to re-sell your place a refund will be given at all times and every effort will be made to re-sell at all times.
• COVID – special conditions – If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid and/or subject to quarantine/isolation restrictions and/or anyone in your household has tested positive – within 7 days of your class – Please DO NOT ATTEND.  Our standard cancellation policy applies however, if your place is not able to be re-sold and cancellation is within 7 days of your class date we will offer you an item made by your tutor and this can be posted to you or collected at an agreed date. **
• Non-attendance – if you do not attend on the day of your class you will not be eligible for a refund or class transfer.
• Payment of your class fee is deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.

** Covid – It remains our policy to continue with facemasks where the tutor requests and also the aforementioned attendance policy.  We are a small business that works with self employed tutors who are dependant on their work as their only source of income, therefore we have implemented this policy to provide the safest working environment for our tutors and staff.  These policies will remain in place until further notice despite any changes to legal requirements.  Your compliance is gratefully received.
